... downtown for dinner at the Red Onion. The Red Onion is another classic Aspen location. It is more of a bar in the front, but they have a dining room area in the back. I got a margarita and the pork schnitzel with lemon caper sauce for the main course. You get to choose one side with your meal and I opted for the Red Onion Salad. I loved the everything I ordered. For dessert I got the Mexican Chocolate Cake served with vanilla ice cream. ...

Day 7 & 8

Our first shopping day yay!!! Today we decided to hire a car and check out the outlets, Rick's Restorations and Vegas in general. We managed to purchase all of our ski gear and lots of other bargains, even Billy went a little cray cray in Tommy Hilfiger lol!! After a big day of shopping we headed back to the motel to pack our bags for our flight to Aspen in the morning.

Today it was the Giant Slalom. Two runs several hours apart with the lowest total time the winner. As it was yesterday skiers only have a course inspection several hours before. The day was not too cold and the course was once again in perfect condition. You really must congratulate the organisers as the course has been immaculately prepared for all these races. ... I am tearing up right now thinking about all the love that happened among each other that night and how much at that time I wished we didn't really have to leave. But all good things must come to an end and after the rain came and forced everyone to abandon the courtyard we had to leave for the airport and continue our journey that God had planned for us.
