... The hostel is a really nice place. Prolly one of the best hostels I've stayed in and I'm lucky enough to be working here. Kind of thinking it'd be nice to be here longer than a month, then again I've been spending money a bit fast, especially on alcohol. Oh well can't help the essentials right. Day 2 here at Pacific Beach. A another beautiful day. We walked along the beach for a while, noticing how the costal cliff is slowly falling into the ocean. We arrived at San Diego by 10.30am, a nice easy trip in the van, time passed quickly.

We spent the morning walking around the old town, lunchtime picnicking in Mission Bay, the afternoon at mission beach and the evening in our campsite.

The old town is a tourist spot, with shopkeepers dressed in period costumes and buildings as they used to be when San Diego was part of Mexico rather than the USA. ...
