We left the house for NYC today around 10:30am. Maya and Eugene went to an Epic volleyball game first. Parked car at Wally Park and no delays to airport. The Jet Blue flight left on time and we arrived in NYC close to 10pm. Took a cab to the Doubletree Metropolitan in Midtown, got $0.99 pizza because we were was hungry (especially Maya), unpacked and went to bed for an early start to Statue of Liberty tomorrow. ...

... so SO hard. After Erik and his parents returned, we decided to head to Pizza Port for dinner and drinks in nearby Solana Beach. The pizzas were both unique and delicious, as were the beers.
