    It was a very early start this morning as we headed off to our 6:30 am boat tour departure. It was a gorgeous sunrise so that made up for it as we walked 20 minutes to our boat.     ... An uneventful night of wondering around Airlie Beach but it is one of the nicest towns we have been to so far. There are nice bars, restaurants, a few marinas and a great swimming area off the beach. 6th April - Packed up our stuff and walked down to the bus station. It was boiling hot even at half 8 so the 15 minute walk was a struggle loaded up with all of our stuff. Now we have a 10 hour coach journey up to Cairns to look forward ...

    ... experience we sailed to another good snorkelling spot in search of turtles. Unfortunately we didn't find any but there were still lots of fish and coral to see so we enjoyed ourselves! Then we sailed back to Airlie for another night before catching the bus to Townsville.     Finally the Administrator told us more and showed lots of pictures, art work, essays etc produced by pupils.
