    ... to do with the enormous amount of beer that is consumed down here. It is considered rude to not have a beer or two. We were careful not to offend our hosts. Peter tried his best to convince us that we were all winners but no one was buying that ********.     On the 11th May we left Rockhampton and found a free camp at St. Laurence. It was a very well appointed free camp. Trevor was talking to the fellow Victorian in the van next to ours. They were going on to Mackay as well and told us about a good caravan park at Black's Beach.
