... so that was a pretty neat sight. The roads in Florida were different. We felt like we were driving through a scary movie; it was foggy, the roads were small and windy, and it was very, very dark. But, we survived! Unfortunately, many frogs did not. Today we had a great ride on the new bike trail in Dunnellon with our friends Trish and Steve. It's a total of 5 miles through the forest. So beautiful. The Florida beauty many tourist don't get to see. After, we all met Lynn and Larry at Swampy's on the Rainbow River for lunch.

Our first stop on our trip is Nature Coast Landings RV Resort in Crystal River. Many of our friends from when we lived here have not yet left for the summer so we are having fun visiting with them. Rocky got his hair cut for the summer. We didn't realize how big his ears were! Looking forward to our stay here at our old home.

On Monday, we packed up the car and headed south to Florida in search of a campsite on the panhandle. We headed towards Panama City Beach, FL in hopes that we could find a campsite along the coast. What campsites we did find were all booked up due to GA's spring break travelers. After driving for over 8 hours with no luck and a sore throat, we headed towards Tallahassee, FL to get a hotel room for the night. We found a LaQuinta Inn, with a IHOP right next door. We crashed for ...
