After the rain we took along walk on white sand beach & went into Destin to check it out. It was once a barrier island but with sea level changes, shifting sands & hurricanes it is now a peninsula. It calls itself the luckiest Fishing Village, I'm not sure it can be classed as a village any more but here certainly were lots of fishing boats in the harbour, it's hard to imagine it that busy. Today, we transitioned to the Destin West RV Resort in Fort Walton Beach. It was really hard to leave the Ho Hum RV Park, but this campground is near the water, and is very nice. The sites are paved with brick pavers and are really deep. Our site is set up that we are head in so we are able to look out and see the water and not the front of another rig.

It was hard trying to leave because as soon as someone heard our accents they always wanted to know where we were from and all seemed impressed with our drive across country.Things really fell apart when the barmaid shouted the bar with something she called Liquid Marijuana. Thats all i've got to say on that but a good night was had by all.
