We wake up, it's midday - apparently experiencing a different city every 2 days is exhausting, and we've only done 3! We really needed to sleep and now that we've caught up we decide to spend the remainder on our day at the beach. We walk in the insanely hot over 100F sunshine to the beach when we decide it is time for ice cream. A visit to CVS lands us with Ben and Jerry's with no spoons - we fashion scoops from the lid ...

... the hotel it was time to get changed for dinner and before we went out, we hit the bar for a few more of those free drinks. We had seen an old 50's diner on the corner of 11th street, so I was keen to go in and get the old diner experience. The food took a while to come out, but it was delicious and a decent size. Afterwards, we took a walk around to see all the art deco buildings lit up at night which was cool to see.

I always expect to hear the will smith song when I'm at this airport, but I never do. Spanish is already being spoken and sugar daddies and trophy wives are in full force. Tara should be checking in, and I'm already at the gate. Flight is on time, yay! A driver will be picking us up in PP.
