... and also try to reach Chris and Paula about lunch today at Alfredo's. Just chilling a bit before we go to lunch. It's a beautiful day outside. Our cruise is nearly over now just today and tomorrow at sea heading back to ft. Lauderdale. We go down to deck 6 to meet them at Alfredo's around 1:30. We get seated and talk while our order is being prepared. After lunch Barbara goes to the Enclave and I head up to our cabin to rest up a bit. We shower and change for dinner. We are looking ...

... that needed to be done as well. We had hoped to get it back on earlier to make a trip down to the Florida keys. We had our scooter to use for transportation but we can’t really go that far on a scooter.

So, we relaxed at the resort, did some shopping and generally accomplished very little through the week. One of our main tasks was to find bicycles to transport to our grandsons, Jeffrey and Jackson. There aren’t any bikes available on the island ...

... big negro guy inadvertantly did a striptease in front of me - which brightened my day :) He happily let me take his photo.

I was picked up at noon and delivered to a local tour company for a half day tour of Miami and a Biscayne Bay cruise. Quite a few Australians joined me and we enjoyed a guided tour through various areas of Miami. Little Havana was an interesting region full of cigar shops and Cuban ice cream shops.

... members who were conveniently at the front of the queue. Yes, we are on this cruise solo. Definitely Owen’s idea.  Our stateroom was located on deck 10 on the starboard side, and the balcony gave us spectacular ocean views where we enjoyed the beautiful sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico.  Dinner at the Windjammer Marketplace was right up Owen’s alley (and Hayley’s, I suppose).  It was a complimentary buffet.  ...

... started, somehow I had got an A boarding and the others all had B... But I waited with Rodd and we got pretty good seats, H & T also managed to get seats together and we all went straight to sleep... I went down the back to the toilet at one stage and they were crashed out, heads back, mouths open, drooling away. The flight was about 4 hours so we got a bit of rest then after a short wait the SAS transportation I had booked arrived ...
