... muffins at breakfast). Picked up some coke and tonic water, 2 bottles of wine, fresh flowers, and other incidentals. Loaded down we walk back to the pier. It's about an hour before sail-away and there are NO lines to get on board!! Usually boarding is a huge zoo because everyone shows up at noon - this is much nicer.

Back in our cabin we see that our wine steward has left us two glasses of champagne - what a nice surprise and a great way to start our next ...

... After recouping at the hotel, we jumped back on the water taxi for a night-time view of the homes and yachts. It is amazing how some of the people live. Just wished that we could have toured some of the kitchens. The water taxi takes 2 hours to complete its circle. We stopped by a pizza joint for a grinder and decided to call it a night.

... back into the daywork mode was quite an adjustment, but at least it kept me busy and out of trouble.

We've had many fun wine nights at the house, a 'tornado' party where there were about 40 randoms at the house, farewells, and chill movie and pizza nights. My main objective, however was to get on a boat again (before I got over the whole yachting idea).

... who said I should apply for cook/stew, so I started planning my 7-day menu to upload on my resume. Could be lots of fun! I worked on my resume and went grocery shopping. Another $30 for about 1 bag. I went to a braai at Lindsay's crew house, thinking we might have some proper meat for a change... Haha we had a turkey burger bbq.
