... Parliament building, then arrived back in time for Susan to have her nails done and Sue a spot of waxing. Then back on the bus we went to the Castle stop, did some shopping and then had a very educational hour in the Scotch Whisky Discovery Centre, including a tasting! Back on the bus, we got off next at the Museum of Childhood were we enjoyed the memories stimulated by the exhibits. 5 hours after hitting the hay, we are up again, for a 4:15 start, packing up and leaving Jess' to head to the station. Saying goodbye to Jess was sad for Will but we'll see her again soon. Train to Gatwick airport and soon we are taking off to Edinburgh, still a little drowsy from the early start. A short flight, suddenly we are in Scotland! My first night I saw two shows - Avenue Q (Adult Version) and Mark Watson the Welsh comedian. Avenue Q Avenue Q's is a unique show. The cast consists of three human characters and eleven puppet characters who interact as if they were human, Sesame Street-style. The puppets are animated and voiced by actor/puppeteers who are onstage, but ...

Flying back to Edinburgh

... my bag (which was a nice surprise) and hopped on the airport bus to get into town. I went straight to the Melville Bar to meet Paul for a drink. We ended up staying there until 11:30pm, and then came back to his to crash. It's really nice of Paul to let me stay on his couch for as long as I want. His place is in a perfect location in the city center so it's a perfect base for the next few days before I head off again.
