        ... on such a hot day. I don't think I have ever seen such a modern fort. It still had cannons. Walking around the beach near the fort, we passed many people fishing and a sandhill crane that was not afraid of us at all. There were many washed-up moon jellies and many more trapped in the surf.         ... It was a good way to say good-bye to both of our neighbors.

        By Wednesday morning, April 1st at 9:00 a.m. all of our friends had left the park. Promises of seeing each other next year, or of keeping in touch, rang in our ears. We had exchanged phone numbers and addresses. And, there was always Facebook. We are confident they will continue to be in our lives.

        ... on the practice schedule of the Blue Angels at the Pensacola Naval Air Base. It is a chilly and windy day so we decide it isn't a good day to go to one of the beaches.
