... One other interesting tidbit from the Fort Morgan museum: there was a display of menus from holidays at the fort, when they tried to built the soldiers' morale. On the July 4 menu for 1912, the beverages on offer were: lemonade, iced tea, and Budweiser. Who knew?

Also: If you are looking for good pizza in Gulfport, I highly recommend Tony's Brick-Oven Pizzaria. Good service, good pizza, and good prices. My detailed Yelp review here.

We left Clinton around 8:45am, got gas and did not stop until we got to Foley (just north of Gulf Shores) where we got some groceries. On to Gulf Shores with the sun shining that got my mood to shine also��! We found the house and it turn out to be really nice. It is a two story with a basement laundry room.
