A little Paradise!!

This property is like Home for us after 3 stays in a two year period and we recommend it to anyone willing to have a wonderful stay while in Tropical North Queensland.

The property is right on the beach and you can enjoy great views from your balcony!! The apartments are spacious and all decorated with very good taste. You'll find everything you need in your apartment and if there is anything else you need, Simon and Gary are always here to help you and give you satisfaction at any time!! Trinity Beach is a great place for relaxing holiday with Restaurants and Amenities within walking distance. We love this property and really appreciate the kindness of Simon and Gary. Of course we'll go back there, the sooner the better!!

Loved Sea Change

My wife and I have been to Australia four times. I must say Sea Change at Trinity Beach was one of our best and most memorable experiences. We have stayed a lot of places that we sourced on the internet, and quite a few do not measure up to their advertising, Sea Change is everything it advertises and more. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one week, had we known it was to be so enjoyable we definately would have booked a longer stay. The apartment style accomodation was without a doubt the best floor plan, view, and equppied kitchen I have seen. The entire facility was well kept and immaculate. The view from our deck was fabulous. The management team was great in assisting in recommendations and booking of tours. We went snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef every second day and it was unbelievable as always. Great restaurants are close by and all the tours offered pick up service just down the block. Only a short distance to Cairns and bus service is available if you are not driving.

Absolutely Brilliant.

We loved Sea Change. The main problem was not allowing enough time to stay there and enjoy it. There is so much to see and do in the Cairn's area that we didn't have enough time to just enjoy Sea Change. It is a magnificient property - right on the beach with great views. The apartments are spacious, and we thought everything was very clean. Trinity Beach is wonderful. Great restaurants along the esplanade, but not too busy - the absence of hotels gives it a real village atmosphere. Great for holiday makers who want sun & fun. We were given a great apartment, and all the staff at Sea Change - especially Garry & Simon were fantastic. We will go back again.

The most beautiful place you could stay at

I stayed at the Sea Change Apartments at Trinity Beach which is 15 minutes from Cairns. It would have been the nicest place that I have stayed in, you have the view of the beach where you can see the sun rise perfectly from your balcony. Also have you ever had problems with apartments where the kitchen didn't have quite what you need, this kitchen has basically everything that you need, you name it, its there. The bed are comfortable. Simon the owner will attend to any bookings you need for the time of your holiday. So if you need a place to stay and you want room to move around stay at the Sea Change Apartments you will not be disappointed!

Ruined by the Manager!

We were very impressed with the facilities at the apartments and around Trinity Beach. Unfortunately, our holiday was somewhat spoiled by the unprofessional attitude of Simon, the manager at Sea Change. Simon was very rude to my wife and children and actually scolded my wife in a threatening manner for leaving the balcony door open when the air conditioning was switched on. This incident upset the whole family and made it difficult to deal with Simon for the rest of the holiday. I agree with the earlier reviewer who claims that he has a problem with children.

We will go back to Trinity Beach but we won't stay at Sea Change Apartments.

Seachange - Can't wait to get back there

Have just ended our fourth visit to Seachange Apartments - you can tell we love it. Great apartments, wonderful hosts (even on our first visit two years ago), as much as you want (or don't want) to do within easy reach of Trinity, the best in-house massage therapy in Australia, no through traffic, beach just across the road, couple of great restaurants just down the road -what more could one want. This is a destination for those who want to unwind in very comfortable, well maintained and thoroughly equipped apartments. Applause for Simon and Garry (Managers) - there professional approach is definitely a reason to want to return - s00n!

Loved Sea Change very much

I thought Sea Change was great. It's views of the beach and ocean were fantastic - this is a 5 star property indeed. We were well looked after the whole stay, and Simon's advice with the tours was very helpful. The apartments were well appointed, and very clean. Trinity Beach is such a beautiful beach, and all restuarants, shops etc were within walking distance. This was the holiday of a lifetime. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Sea Change.

"Children should be seen and not heard"

These are not child friendly apartments! On top of all of the standard safety rules for the pool there are no ball games permitted in the pool area. The rules, it would seem, are also subject to the whim of Simon the manager who has an obvious dislike of children. He actually told the children that they could not play marco polo in the pool. They were also told to stop talking in the pool - it was 6-20pm and well within pool hours. After I questioned these new rules I was told that if I didn't like the rules, I could check out in the morning. If the children were annoying any other guests I would have chastised them myself but after some quick checking with the only two nearby residents, it was clear that the only person upset by a couple of kids playing quietly in the pool was Simon himself. The kids were also in trouble for talking in the garage. Without Simon, this would be a lovely place to stay.

Great accommodation, not suitable for families

Great apartment, close to the beach with wonderful views. Our children enjoyed the close proximity to the beach which is patrolled daily and very safe. However these apartments are not family friendly. Simon (the manager) is constantly telling people in the pool area to be quiet. His excuse is the neighbouring apartments but we noticed on a number of occassions that there was no one in these apartments. His own apartment is right next to the pool area however. We witnessed this most days of our stay, even though the noise was not too bad . Due to this the apartments lack a holiday atmosphere.

Would not return because of this.

Beautiful facilities but misleading booking info

SeaChange apartments are definitely above average in terms of the physical facilities -- large, meticulous, well-stocked and beautiful apartments with a gorgeous setting. However, the managers can be somewhat haughty. While the booking and publicity information states that they provide transportation from the airport, it should be noted that one must give them 24 hours advance notice to get this service. Since we were unaware of this policy (and, of course, had not been in the area prior to arriving at the airport!), we were rudely told to take a cab when we called to be picked up. The same type of "attitude" was displayed on other occasions throughout our stay there.
