... High Wycombe who were on honeymoon. Quick dinner of omelette and beans and then walk into local town for drink. ************e out and about... Makes a change from everywhere else we have been so far on this trip. Next day we headed off early winding our way up and down the twisty roads until Paul couldn't drive any further. ... and I mean not just on the Globe where you find in the Big City's much better ,cheaper good deals on hotels than in remote areas really just reverse from the rest of the world. When I asked some People told me ... remotes Areas have higher cost than City's ...really !! . maybe it has something to do with the transportation Mafia in this Country which adding a lot on all the goods transported to these remote Locations ...

... We came to a stop at Punakaiki where there are Pancake Rocks and blowholes. We went for a little walk in a loop and had views out to all the rocks. They looked like flat pancakes stacked on top of each other. We hadn't come at high tide, but at low tide so you couldn't really see the blowholes. There was just an occasional couple of drops spurting out. We did the little loop. We were supposed to be having pancakes there for lunch but me, Mitch and Livvy got in trouble ...
