... curfuffle we went to the closet hostel from the airport and checked in. It was $30 a night and we have been paying only $20 so we were a bit shocked by that. But! The beds were very comfy. This included a boat trip to Playas Blancas, the boat was full on holidaying Colombians (which made for some funny looks being the only, pasty, non-locals). There was a MC who's role was to get people involved in games during the trip - one of the most bizarre / hilarious was when he got 2 guys to collect items of women's clothing and then adopt female stage names and do a catwalk. To end our first day (yes I know I'm late), we had lunch and dinner from local stores in Costa Rica. Wandering around the streets, we realized two things. 1. The drivers are crazy. 2. Many of the local men seem to find our group...'interesting'. The drivers (especially bus drivers) do not follow the whole red light, green light rule, and a cross walk is like the hunger games.
