... abundant bunches of fruit around their fleshy purple flowers. The humidity was very high so we were grateful for a cooling glass of fruit juice before leaving the gardens. Michael and Louisa (who are a policeman and a physiotherapist respectively by profession) have five days at a classy-looking island resort coming up. They're sure to have a wonderful time. Some of the church-goers greeted us from the bus stop when we passed on our way back to town, the ...

After some crazy jumps and swims in the falls, we took a boat ride and headed back to the hostel. Christmas Day continued with bula dancing, dinner and drinks, then celebration-Not only was it Christmas, but our tour guides 30th birthday AND we were celebrating an engagement in our group-A proposal ...

... using a bamboo pole to paddle and push off the river bottom to propel us. Withing no time we caught thee first group, then the second. This guy was a strong maniac that did not want to lose! We caught everyone else and literally just nosed in for the win by a few feet. The end of the race was also the path leading up to the back of the village. Everyone changed before we had another kava ceremony. This was us kind of asking permission to leave and them thanking ...
