... on Victoria. Again a little different concept that what we're used to, but when in Rome. Pretty good food for $50AUS and then headed back to the hotel. We're getting picked up by Ian tomorrow at 09:00 a.m. and we're really looking forward to seeing them again after our time on the Panama cruise. They've opened their home to us - such great people - can't wait to see them again.

Stay tuned - more tomorrow.

The rest of the day I ambled around Collaroy Beach, made some dinner and headed over to the local to watch the first of the NRL finals - there was a good atmosphere and ...

... commentary was so interesting, punctuated with humorous ramblings. All in all, it was a great time...well worth the $2 tip I gave him....wait, that should read $20 tip.
After the tour was ended, Joan and I were quite hungry. We encountered an outdoor market with many hot food vendors, so we ended up sharing a 3 skewered (lamb, chicken, and Kangaroo meat) meal with rice and salad. We took it down by the harbour and devoured it while enjoying the ...

Rocks Market and Luna Park

A travel blog entry by smithputney on Aug 23, 2015

The receptionist yesterday had told us about the Rocks Sunday craft market and so after breakfast in the hotel (an automatic pancake making machine caught Natasha's eye!) we headed out. It was just after 9 and many stalls were only just setting up so we walked down to the Harbourside where a large P&O cruise liner had pulled in earlier that morning, We looped around to the top of the Rocks and the main temporary market street. The stalls were like ...
