We left our hotel after breakfast about 9:30 to travel about 45 miles from the west end to the east end. Although the road was good, it was curvy and it took us 2 hours. Showered off, dad and I hit the local Pemo to get some meat for our BBQ. Lets just say there was not a huge array of choice. Having picking up some sausage shaped things and something that looked like round pieces of chicken we headed back home to the already lit BBQ (very prepared father) and made courgette and red pepper skewers which had come straight out of our garden!

... anywhere without a recommendation, not even an ice cream parlour (again, dad, you should be proud), however one such recommendation got us in a pickle. A certain Scott McQuaid (a Bristol chum of Max's) warned us of the overcrowded tourist beach and instead directed us to a more secluded alternative "20 minutes walk away", 20 minutes walk if you take to correct fork at the crossroads.
