Got a great start with breakfast on the terrace of the Armada Hotel. We thought we would take it easy and planned "just" to visit Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. Unlike all our other mornings we woke up before 9:00 this morning for a pre-breakfast swim.

We rushed down to the closest beach which is usually packed with tourists, but was empty at 8:15 in the morning-apart from a few germans saving some spots by planting their towels and walking off back to bed.

As we all hopped in, mum fell off the edge and Joseph walked in slowly we swam out a little way, realising how lucky we were! Croatia ...
