... would commence so we moved on . Inspired by what we saw we actually took an afternoon guided tour on the making of The Game of Thrones . Garry got a bit more put of it than I did , the guide lost me after about 90 minutes of a 3 hour tour. It am a reader of the books and Garry is a watcher of the TV series . I am only up to book 4 so major 'spoiler alert ' when the guide foretold of a death of a major chatacter I had yet to read ! ...

Unlike all our other mornings we woke up before 9:00 this morning for a pre-breakfast swim.

We rushed down to the closest beach which is usually packed with tourists, but was empty at 8:15 in the morning-apart from a few germans saving some spots by planting their towels and walking off back to bed.

As we all hopped in, mum fell off the edge and Joseph walked in slowly we swam out a little way, realising how lucky we were! Croatia ...

Anyway, did we climb it? Well with the temperature peeking at 32 degrees C and a large cruise ship in port I am afraid we took a good look and had to pass. Though we were not the only ones. I watched for about 30 mins and saw 2 people heading down ...

... Army (Serbs). Yes, the same ones that bombed Mostar and Sarajevo in Bosnia. Most of the red tiled roofs have now been replaced and there is little remaining of the attack that took place more than 20 years ago.

The old city is closed to cars so when the cruise ships descend it is as crowded as freeways in rush hour. But ...

As the cab driver is loading our suitcases in the trunk, I tell Leo I have to run back into the house because I forgot something important. The passes for the United Club.
