    ... the boardwalk where we held on. A woman appeared out of nowhere asking if we’d seen her dog, we had, it was heading for the sea. We cut across the river into a calmer path, then found it didn’t lead anywhere. At this point some people went passed with a collie in their canoe, looking very happy.

    ... Apart from an interesting drive up 1100 meters and great views along the way,the chance to see examples of the Antarctic Beach trees at the top (thought to be many millions of years old genetically) was a wonderful - the QLD/NSW border could be seen at the top of a densely forested ridge a kilometre north.

    The time came for us to leave the company of Margaret & Lionel and head south.

    ... told me they are expecting me to go back next year for at least a month maybe even 3!
    It has been almost a week since I have left spot X and I am still wearing my hoody daily and have the wrist bands on that I cannot bare to take off just yet. I have met up with Laila and Steffi and the boys are arriving today which will be nice! I can see a big one this weekend!
    For now all that's left to remember is Spot X rule number 1: Look cool and have fun!

    ... so the now live there. Some dolphins had kicked their ball out of the pool and wanted us to throw it back into the water. It was quite amazing how you can interact with a marine creature.
