    ... to Coffs Harbour and into the motel (Surf Beach motel) and it does what it says on the tin, across the road and your on the beach front. We take a walk along the beach front to see what's going on by the time we got to the end of the beach there was nothing happening so we headed into town still not much happening, where is everyone?     ... stay with us for a couple of days. We were also keen to check on the progress of the plover family - baby had grown nearly as big as the parents in the weeks since we had seen them. We were not so pleased with the abundance of midgees who had taken up residence there. Poor old Kiernan got eaten alive. Now we know why we are heading south for the summer.

    ... boats was not the easiest and got pretty wet. We spent lots of the days sitting on the beach. 1st couple of times we sat on the dog walking beach and I was jealous thinking beefy would love running around there. Was some nice sand though so carved some things in the sand.
