Well the 3 amigos are off. We left the states late arvo yesterday and immediately ran into trouble trying to get into Mexico. We got secondary checked and asked for registration for shawns little tinny and the trailer we built. We were told we couldn't enter Mexico unless the boat was registered. They turned us around and made us wait in the qua for the states. We got into the states no problems with the boat, weird. Luckily ...

So this is jet lag... Oh and we are in America :)

Heading to the west coast now, about 5-6 hours driving. Driving through the desert, nothing in sight except some cactus plants. We only stopped for fuel, a snack and drink. mostly drove all day, though mountains of rock no plants growing on them, quite unusual, then back in complete sandy desert. We have found that we tip about 15% or there abouts. Cash also seems to be more widely used than in Australia now. ... we use at home. There is plenty of room in each tent for two people and suitcases.

The campsite has lots of big parties with gazebos, long tables and strings of fairy lights. It also has enormous RVs. Imagine the type of tour bus you'd expect a pop group to be travelling in and you'd be close to picturing them.
