Observation of the day: I have noticed
that public restrooms (and we've used a lot since we've been here)
all have a gap on both sides of the door, about 1/1.5cm on each side.
Now it may not seem that different to ours or all that much but
actually, ours in New Zealand are quite flush (ha ha, yes I did that
on purpose) but if you walk past these you see a flash ...

... with Shamu. Tickets were $42 each with buffet lunch so we booked our spots. Toured around Seaworld for most of the morning and watched a pets show which had cats dogs pigs ducks birds and everything doing tricks it was great. Went on the ride Manta which was great there was no line so we went around 3 times. Lined up for lunch with Shamu about 12:40 and had great seats right on the waterside. We leave at 10.30 and head to the harbour area, passing the airport and also the old Boeing building, where in WW2 they used to make the B17 bombers in massive numbers out of this enormous factory. We get off here for a tour of the aircraft carrier, USS Midway, it's massive....we start off on an audio tour of the lower decks, seeing the forecastle where the chains are released for the anchors, also the sleeping ...
... On a 120 m hill the lighthouse could be seen for up to 32 miles. We explored the Keepers house where we saw the lamp and how the mirrors worked. In the lighthouse we had a glance in the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and up the ladder to the lamp… they had a nice view for living, but for sure remote.
