      ... the road at traffic lights holding up cardboard notices!! This is the end of a holiday that began in Reno with the World Curling Federation Congress. Have loved the trip and all the sights and would loved to have stayed longer but the curling season at home beckons. A long flight home now.       ... line for the bus tour which was the only line we had. It took nearly an hour to get going. We really walked a lot considering the heat. We did not see everything, but we did not miss much, except the kiddy area and animals. After the t shirt shopping we left at 4:45. The temperature in the car in the parking lot was 95!! I mean hot and humid! As we drove along the temp went down to 91!

      ... E's right!! No more silver cabs! Layover in Seattle and arrived here around 2pm. Went to Granville Island via Aquabus. Lots of vendors selling fruits, veggies, flowers, arts and crafts. I bought a Granville magnet from one of the local artists and some Rainier cherries. Consensus... yellow cherries are better than the red ones. Boarding Disney Wonder tomorrow... can't wait!! :)) Jo ...

      ... we ended up having beers at his mates house before heading over the border for burritos. Luckily I had my passport with me, otherwise I could have been in some ****. My first house cleaning shift was alright. I've never been much of a cleaner but hey for free rent I don't mind. So there's 3 floors each with 2 bathrooms and 2 showers, so 6 rooms that need to be cleaned. This is the first thing to be cleaned before fixing the kitchen up ...

      ... food. Had the pulled pork sandwich with hickory smoked sauce. O. M. G. it was beautiful. Few drinks and shots later - we are all in bed before midnight. But we can be forgiven. Some of is haven't slept since 6:30 15/10/13 aus time. As I write, Aaron is asleep in his queen bed- I am watching tv in mine. I will go to bed soon. Big day tomorrow. San Diego Zoo.
