There wasn't actually that much in the way of food, mainly clothes and home wear, so we just got the necessities to keep us going.

The next day we headed for Trestles, a famous surf sport that Dan wanted to check out, which was just south of San Clemente. The beach was pretty nice and there was a bit of surf but nothing big. We sat there and watched the surfers for about an hour and I was trying to watch ...

... Jump Drive - Ebay $5: I brought one of this for god knows why. This weightless piece may come in handy if I meet someone exceptional on my trip and want to gift them with our shared photos or videos (not that my laptop couldn't do that anyhow). It might not be needed.

After Gin 'curved' as it is called (aka doing a workout at Curves) and I did a brisk walk around our hotel, we found our way to Olive Hills public tennis courts in Anaheim. Gin and I played a bit of tennis there and then headed back to our car to change our footwear and travel on. As we were preparing to leave, a man walks up to driver's side of our car, raps on the window and asks if he can borrow our cell phone. When he learns we're from Canada and determined it'd be expensive for ...
