... great place to to spend a couple of days the weather was hot and humid (high 90's about 37c) and after a trip to the Mexican markets we added a few more souvenirs to our collection. ... cool and watched the film 'the giver'. After that I packed up my bags and got an early night. I was up at 6am, Diego kindly drove me into San Antonio to get my bus headed for New Orleans. The journey was scheduled to take 12 hours in total with a few breaks in between. It was good to see Cal for a few days and meet Diego and Chris, they looked after me really well and it's always nice to be in a home rather than a hostel! ... in buses and trains don't say, check your belongings or keep an eye out for thieves. They say do not touch an unattended bag, please report straight to transport director/driver. Very aware of the fact of terrorism here. Today was a travel day. As were packing up this am the sky darkened and there was light rain. By the time we were on the loop around San Antonio, the sky opened up and the downpour was serious, with driving becoming very difficult.
