... hospitality and the chance to earn some cash. We'll miss the array of animals, cocoa the lamb and Matilda the calf, the two beautiful dogs Midas and Drover, Louis the parrot, the clan of cats and kittens, and the cheeky pony Design with her horsey mates George and Buddy (you can see how I coped with cleaning the dunnies with this mob of animals to keep me happy)! And so we're off, under instruction to head to Hervey Bay and get a tour across to Fraser Island, c'mon Wilson you can do ...

... We also saw a kingfisher, a lot smaller than I expected it would be! I've seen so many birds over here and you can get so close to them without the need for even using binoculars, pup would have loved to come here! In comparison to the Everglades in Florida these are a lot more serene and peaceful, much prettier I think! The water reflections and trees were a lot cooler and I think the wildlife is a lot friendlier! We reached Harry's Hut, an old work shed turned ...

... 10 sausages on the public electric BBQ. Apparently they were not vegetarians.

North of Noosa, the Tom Tom GPS guided us through a dizzying array of roundabouts until we reached the M1 and our next destination, Hervey Bay where we met our friend's daughter and her new husband. There we literally and figuratively recharged our batteries and enjoyed a wonderful steak and wine meal. ...
