Matt needed to register at the Australian Medical Association so we drove into Brisbane city centre on Monday morning. Our experience of English traffic suggested that this was going to be a bad journey, but within 15 minutes we were parking in the centre. Australian cities are spookily quiet! We had arranged the previous day that Milly would join us for the drive up to Noosa via the Lone Pine ...

This was the day when we finally sussed out how to correctly put up the annex to our camper trailer - all those poles had a purpose and today they got put to their proper use - only 5 attempts, not bad!! ...

We woke a little earlier today. Absolutely beautiful sunny day. Around 10am we headed out in the car down to Weyba Road, we parked up in Aldi and walked down to the Noosa Farmers Market! It was very busy and the stalls were full of lovely looking treats! We tried some steamed duck buns and some refreshing Australian lime juice! We also devoured a pasty from a British ...

... of the things on my bucket list was to hold a Koala bear, so when the opportunity arose I couldn't turn it down. After this I was then very excited and decided to hold a snake as well, altogether coming to $50! Oops! But it was a great experience regardless. Another thing we could do was go through the Koala walk: a path with trees surrounding and little Koalas sitting at the top. One even decided to come down (despite them sleeping 20 hours a day) ...
