... Becky and I headed home to chill out for a bit. Even though it had progressively got better it had been a tough week all the same and we were exhausted. A little later on (two episodes of Breaking Bad and a handful of Dragonball Z later) we got ready and headed on out to Sukhumvit Soi 11 where loads of people from work were gathering for a night out and a farewell to Lauren, one of the other teachers. Finding the place proved easier than ...

... his personal affiliation with the 'tribes' our experiences in this area would not have been as educational and as eye-opening. I did develop a soft spot for Shekar.
My thoughts about the food we had
........Yummy, yummy yummy....variety, taste, spice etc...words can't describe...and the Kingfisher or Chang beer a perfect accompaniment to our many planned culinary experiences. Fortunately, we had many locals to assist us such as drivers and guides.

A morning by the pool

A nice relaxed breakfast - although as it was later, the dining room was full. It was nice not to be rushing. After breakfast we changed into our togs and went down to the pool. As predicted, Ron found it difficult to "chill" for longer than 30 minutes. Once he'd finished his book, there was no way I was reading. Harry has money problems then gets oinked at

A travel blog entry by harry.harrison on Mar 26, 2015

So I'm off on my travels again and thought I might as well bore everyone with an account of my shena****ns, defying all laws of syntax by flicking around between first and third person, and invariably ranting about some insignificance.

True to form, to begin with Harry found himself in a bit of a predicament with his wallet. He'd bought a new wallet, a cheap one, rather than take his fancier, albeit old and decrepit leather one. However, upon buying large amounts of Thai Baht ...

... I have internet next time. So don't panic if you don't get in touch with me for some days.

I can recommend B.U. Place hotel, it's more like an apartment, big room, balcony, sofa, bathroom and both swimingpool and fitness center included. It's not in the middle if the city, but the soup restaurant near by is amazing! And it's good to eat where the locals eat. Cheap and it's good for their business. Also recommend the Chatchuk market!!
