2/6 continued..it's a miracle!! Not scammed by taxi wahoo!!!so we really didn't have too much luck here with our accommodation. We decided to stay on the island next to Cebu called Mactan, as apparently Cebu is not so great. We had 2 places for our options...first one there was confusion as to whether we could have a double room, no one gave us a straight answer so ended up leaving. Next one was banana cantina hostel. luxury after a rustic couple of weeks, just a shame about the smell
of sewers in the bathroom, sticky plastic mattress, ant invasion and
the view of the waste ground next door out of the window!
soon headed out, walking the mile or so to the huge Ayala shopping
mall, greeted every few steps by friendly locals. Excited by seeing
