    ... and managed to board a bus. We had to wait until it was full before we left. At least it was comfortable and had aircon and was far cheaper than a taxi...4000 Pesos for a taxi and 310 Pesos for both of us on bus. Finally on our way to Oslob. The journey took 3 hours with a few stops but wasn't too bad. Eventually we were dropped in Oslob in a street..had a man approach us and offered to show us some places. First one was 2000 with a broken shower..think this was just cause we were white ...

    ... person in this case! Another case, of ok Al act cool act really cool man, and jump on a jeepney hopefully going in the right direction. I think it took me 3 Jeepney rides to get there. Jeepneys drivers charge 8 pesos per trip, sort of like a bus trip through suburbs back in NZ, except its no enclosed so breathing in exhaust fumes is part of the deal. A test of strength really haha.. if you can still breath afterwards and have a sense of taste you're doing well.
