Day 36 - Saturday 18th April

No room service breakfast today … instead we woke up early and I got up to do some photo editing. I looked out our balcony window and there was a small speed boat passing us. I said to Doug that I hoped it wasn't pirates – they continued on so I guess not !

Then got on our dhow for the river cruise which was supposed to leave at 10.30. Hmmm, around 10.50 we finally left. It was interesting cruising up the river and seeing the different buildings. There was also a very helpful Scottish couple there who had recently cruised to some of the places I am going, and gave me helpful tips about whether I needed to do the ships excursions, or could just take myself.
