      Express checkout from Cabana Bay, taxi down the road to pick up our car (Chrysler 200), road trip down the Florida Turnpike (a major arterial tollway road) to Fort Lauderdale. Got into Fort Lauderdale (3 and a half hours - 346 km) around 2 pm. Couldn't check in until 2 pm (in addition to the late check in time, their system was down so they were unable to check room statuses).       ... woke up and checked the time to see it was 0541 and I had to leave in 19 minutes- most of you will know how much of a challenge it is for me to get ready in such a short space of time!       ... a prayer flag display will have you walking in awe of this place.
      After walking through the lobby, you take the stairs down to an outdoor campfire pit where you can sit and enjoy the flames with the family and get this, a few steps down and walla! Animals!! I saw giraffes, birds and deer of all assortments. Its like a mini park!
