Sadly, that ended our tour. The bus made its way back to where it began, which was fortuitously was right across from Waverley Station. Pam and I walked across the street, met Bill, Janet, and Michael, collected our luggage (thanking Bill profusely), and began the next part of our journey to Northumbria.

Edinburgh no doubt my favourite part of Scotland and i think Rachels after this little visit. We stayed with Carol & Gerry my aunt and uncle on Leith Walk which is about about a 2 minute walk into the centre of town so location is great for doing anything/everything.
We got in quite early into Edinburgh so we decided to drop of our bags and head out for the day plus we had dinner booked in the west ...
Food, glorious food
I used to just think that my grandmother was a bad cook. Childhood holidays consisted of meals at my grandparent's house eating fried mince meat, a grey, ugly concoction without any such adornment as seasoning. If you were 'lucky' you would get some vegetables that had all the goodness stolen from them during the extended cooking process. Scotland and London the 2nd

After Scotland, it was back down to London. This was exciting, as it's London, but also I was meeting friends from Perth! Zoe and Sam had just finished what sounded like an epic contiki, and were surprisingly fresh, which was good, as we had important things to do. Well, important thing.
