We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

After getting dry we join some other fellow trekkers who are in the warm restaurant area, enjoying a large buffet meal which lamb, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, soup.. Went to the beach but were literally blown off it by fierce winds which channel down the 22 mile length of the lake. Chilled for the rest of the afternoon feeding the very cute chipmunks which ...

... flat roofed buildings lining the road. The train horns from the railroad that dissects the town add an evocative soundtrack.

We met up at the perfectly positioned Gar Woods restaurant on the lake in Carnelian Bay. We stay on the decking over-looking the lake with crystal clear views across to South Lake Tahoe and the Heavenly mountain. It had heated up by this time so we were forced to resort to some Wet Woodys to cools down. ...

... a snow ball fight. The snow was hard but it was still fun. I didn't get to make a snowman so will have to do that in New York if I get the chance. We got a few photos then headed back on our snowmobile for the ride back. It was so fun and once again- a highlight of my trip! When we got back into town- Brady, Tara, Paul and I went to 'Fire and Ice' a Mongolian BBQ restaurant. It was recommended to us by our ...
