... They have both been drinking since the early afternoon, and bring a waft of beery aroma with them into the sauna.

After getting dry we join some other fellow trekkers who are in the warm restaurant area, enjoying a large buffet meal which lamb, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, soup.. The smell and the appearance of the food is like torture when we walk in, and having planned initially only to have a hot chocolate, we soon cave in and pay the exorbitant price to join in ...

... up course high up in the trees. It was very high, very extensive and slightly intimidating. Olly was already planning his trip with the Pykett boys before we left.

While the boys were out zip-lining Maija took Jo to Truckee a thriving local town nestled in the mountains amongst the Tahoe National Forrest. As soon as you enter Truckee you sense the history of this old trading and prospecting town. The main street is perfectly preserved with ...

... early night ready for our final coach ride to San Francisco tomorrow morning. I really don't want to leave Lake Tahoe, I am in love with this place. I expected a quiet, sleepy town and was pleasantly surprised with not only the most beautiful houses, mountains, lake and town square but also by the busy night life, casinos, amazing cuisine, gorgeous people and crazy fun extreme sporting adventures. Tahoe- I'll be back! ...

Jalen's 1st trip to Lake Tahoe- Worst resort

My parents took me to Lake Tahoe for the 1st time and we stayed at the worst hotel. It was so small and dirty, we only stayed 1 night and got to go home. My parents had to sit through a timeshare presentation. I was really little so I didn't know much of what was going on. I was not a big fan of getting my feet wet in the cold lake water for the 1st time, but the Lake is sure beautiful!
Thank Goodness he won't remember it!
