Tirsdag d. 6 november var det valgtid. Vi havde valgt at fejre det på rigtig amerikansk vis med Jenny hvilket betød mac'n'cheese og cupcakes. Ved ikke om det er den normale amerikanske måde at se valg på, men da vi aldrig havde smagt mac'n'cheese før blev vi hurtigt enig med Jenny om at det ville være den bedste måde at se valg på. Vi brugte derfor det meste af aftenen hos Jenny med at få hjemmelavet mac'n'cheese (mums) og lave cupcakes formet som små ænder ...

... stopped a teenager walking along the road who honestly told us after much thinking "take a left. go through the gulch, take another left then take a right I think that's how." He was a real confidence builder but we figured the ship didn't leave until the next day so we were ok, and continued on. Back on the bus we headed off to the Macadamia Nut Outlet where, as our driver assured us, they give unlimited samples. Real Love Hawaii
... look more like Danny Devito. I **** and belch without warning. I didn't plan a damn thing for the trip. Amy tends to snap over anything. She is quick to points out every little thing I am doing wrong.
Let's just say that for half of the trip... it did not feel like we were on vacation. For a second, I actually had doubts if we were still perfect travel companions.

Den første uge i Waikiki
... af vores lille episode i ørkenen ved Grand Canyon da vi lige pludselig stod ved en støvet landevej i et industrikvarter langt væk fra alt der minder om Waikiki og ledte efter UPS's kontor. Og da samtlige personer vi spurgte om vej grinte af vores forsøg på at gå derud blev det hele bare endnu mere mærkeligt og absurd. Til sidst fik vi fat i en TAXA der kunne gøre os det sidste stykke.
