Jet Star is very busy.. We walk each day, Cotton Tree is a nice walk, and up to Picnic Point in the other direction is very good, riverside, people fishing, boats coming and going, and an older lady who feeds the birds each day, they crowd in ...

Volunteer dune work day again today - this time at another beach with 2 groups combined. We were met with a celebrity welcome as apparently we're front page news in the local rag which was delivered to homes this morning!! The other news was that today is forecast to be the hottest March day here since 1965!! It was hot! Very humid and around 37C - it made it extra hard work to weed and plant. Headed back to the airport to pick up a hire car, which we had just booked online. Nissan Qashqai, several of you will know this is what I wanted to buy.
We had been recommended at our hotel that if there is only one thing you do in Brisbane, then do the City cruise. Its the ferry but goes round Brisbane. I too would recommend anyone to do it. Vincent has returned HOME.

Yes folks at last our beautiful amazing fantastic wonderful camper van has been brought home. Two days shy of his first birthday.

Chris and Greg finished the last gluing and screwing and vacuum at 6.22pm last evening.

Thrilled is all we can say ruddy thrilled. We wish we could think of more superlatives! If that is our only problem then that isn't a large one.

    ... the sun!

Today I think I am going to head to Mooloolaba for a few hours and explore. Bec has to go there for work so she's going to drop me off and pick me up after a few hours! Matt is home with the kids today. Going to go see what's around and price out some different activities for my next days off!

Hope you are all well and have survived the heat wave and tropical storm that has hit the east coast!!
