... get a hotel room instead, what the heck it was the start of our first wedding anniversary weekend! We went back to the campsite, pulled the tent down, and researched hotels nearby. We found a Marriott hotel a few miles from the park with availability and got a room. But before we left the park, we ventured to the Lower McKinney Falls - very dry and hot, we didn’t stay too long.
