    ... bones and other signs that dinosaurs roamed the area. Unfortunately, we missed the turnoff for the monument and 30 miles later realized it. The Monument is a huge area, but when we arrived at the other end of the park, the only thing to see were more gorges and valleys, so we kept going. Sad to have missed it, but we plan on coming back out here at some point to see the Rockies.

    ... and baked potato. Dessert was in the Great Room where it was supposed to be a display. Angel cake with flambéed berries, only the berries wouldn’t light! We then had champagne for one guest’s birthday.

    Sunday I had bacon and potatoes from breakfast as usual, and then left the ranch at 8:45am to be dropped back off at the Sheraton Steamboat for the final leg of my trip. I got assigned room 840, a king bedded room.

    ... a campfire since I’d never done that before on one of my skis and had some Bailey’s by the fire.

    By the time we ended it was about 3:30 I think so we got back in the car and drove back to the ranch in time before the 4:30pm deadline.

    After my ski I took the opportunity to walk around and take some photos around the ranch before dinner.
