... were created by the wife of a cement manufacturer in the quarry abandoned by her husbands company and eventually opened to the public as the most incredably well kept public gardens I have ever seen.. being married to CJ I have been dragged to a lot.

The gardens are not just a flat expanse of plants but full use of the undulating terraine including the old dock and quarry itself have all been used to effect..

          ... little alley.
Just before we got to the China Town we could hear all this yelling and clapping so Sticky beak Stewart went and had a look and chatted to a couple of Coppers(policemen) about what was going on and it turns out it was a Anti Fracking Rally, so he went and took a few pics and moved on to china town, we then worked our way down towards the harbour and had a look at the work being done on the old bridge as they build a new one beside it,and then decided ...

We are currently back in Australia to visit Shaz after having an operation. We really noticed the Aussie accents when we landed in Sydney. Its was also really nice to surprise our Mums for mothers day. Shaz is recovering well. We will head back to Canada this week to resume our trip across Canada.

          Hope everyone is well!

We walked china town and around the streets for 3 hours before Derek found a rather large hand painted tiger (yup it's coming home somehow), before meeting up for a quick chat with Jen from Contiki! Once again back on the bus we ...
