After checking in, we went to go to where the show we were seeing was. We were supposed to go see "Reasons to be Pretty" and the University of Victoria, but we couldn't get tickets for it, so we went to a show called "Speaking in Tongues." We wander down to the inner harbor after checking into the hotel and have a nice supper, our last 'real' meal for awhile.
Back at the hotel we fill the water bladders and our bottles with water so we,re all set. We have arranged for travel to the trailhead and it leaves at 6:15 in the A.M.
... You can get a good idea of the steepness of the bluffs from the photo of Richard under the overhanging cliff. Speaking of cliff, he'd better watch out for Gertrude and Heathcliffe. There are a number of eagles in the area - snapped a couple of photos just for an example. Kind of tough to stay steady with the rocking waves and the digital zoom.
