... were created by the wife of a cement manufacturer in the quarry abandoned by her husbands company and eventually opened to the public as the most incredably well kept public gardens I have ever seen.. being married to CJ I have been dragged to a lot.
The gardens are not just a flat expanse of plants but full use of the undulating terraine including the old dock and quarry itself have all been used to effect..

We are currently back in Australia to visit Shaz after having an operation. We really noticed the Aussie accents when we landed in Sydney. Its was also really nice to surprise our Mums for mothers day. Shaz is recovering well. We will head back to Canada this week to resume our trip across Canada.
