The rest of the day we spent milling
around the marina, watching a boat race, eating, drinking, until we
finally decided to just head to the airport...a whole 12 hours before
our flight...yey! It was long, and uncomfortable as all the cool
things at Changi airport including free rest seats were in the lounge
after check in...which we couldn't do until 4am! So dragging the

... We stopped in and ended up ordering a plate of local noodles with squid and shrimp. After searching around for an open table for about five minutes we were able to dig in to our delicious food. I didn't even think to take a picture because we were so hungry at this point.
With full bellies we made our half hour walk home. Singapore seems so much cleaner and safer than the other south east Asian cities we have been to. We hope that our gut feeling ...

Arrived in Singapore, we started to search for our hotel in Chinatown which is called Park22 Hotel. Actually we booked a standard hotel room which looked really nice while booking it online. Now to the real world.... We opened the door and within one step into the room we hit our knees on the bed. The room has about 7m2 including the bathroom. There is basically only a bed...
