... it's a $500 on the spot fine. We decided although money is very tight we would rather spend $24 than $500. We stayed at a backpackers resort, still slept in the camper but got to use all the facilities. It was a pretty cool place and if the first hostel we'd stayed in had of been like that then I'd of been ok with hostel living. We ate, and went for a little wander in the evening and then just chilled out listening to music in the main area of the ...

... bitten to death sat outside we made the bed, climbed in and it all felt pretty cosy… until after about 15 minutes the bed had collapsed, we were both sweating buckets as it was hotter than a sauna and the van was full of mozzies as we decided to open the sun roof and stargaze. Night 1 in El Cheapo was not going to be as fun as we had imagined. After about an hour of this, with many squashed bugs on the ceiling, we decided enough was enough and drove ...

As soon as we hit the gate, so to speak, we noticed a white
car being given a ticket by a police car. To our horror it was a mufti, blue
commie. We took this as a good omen as it wasn’t us getting a ticket. I told
you they’re everywhere here, but that was ridiculous.

We are heading to Alex bay a beach frequented before this
trip. It’s a bit of a walk in the heat so it’s best to go early.

    Some time was ...
