After our tour it was time to hit the town with a dinner at Buddy V's aka The Cake Boss' Italian restaurant which was organised by Nathan and Mark for Billy. Billy said he had the best Chicken Parma he has ever had...which is a big call but deserved as the food and service was amazing!! Today it was the Giant Slalom. Two runs several hours apart with the lowest total time the winner. As it was yesterday skiers only have a course inspection several hours before. Certainly not fashion for the everyday person. It was still fun to watch though. Finished off the evening with another champagne from the Korbel Ice Bar - totally carved out of ice it certainly kept the champagne chilled just the way we like it. Enjoying this lifestyle!

... Cafe. Obviously the best value place to eat/drink as it is packed every evening. Happy hour is 3-6pm and great value. Local microbrewery beers on tap. Colorado Amber Ale is a favourite of ours. Their Bowl of Chilli is hot, warming and filling. The burgers are fantastic (better than Two Moos), Enchiladas tasty but not sure about the orange cheese, Nachos is superb - a generous portion that well and truly satisfied us for less than $10!

... minutes we saw a man walk by us heading toward the cause of the jam. He soon walked out of our sight. Another 15 or 20 minutes passed and we saw a State truck in the left lane reversing toward us. There was an illuminated sign on the truck. The sign alternated between an arrow pointing to the right and the notice "Left Lane Closed." The truck stopped a hundred feet or so ahead of our position. All the while it was snowing and we were not ...
