Took the drive to Fish Creek Falls and did a short walk to a great view. There was a path leading down to the bottom of the falls but using good sense we passed and just enjoyed the view from topside. A lot of water was flowing over the falls. ... was through oil and coal fields. Many trains and they were extremely long and full of coal. Drove in the mountains at elevations of over 9,000 ft. Would you believe that snow was still on the ground at the higher elevations. Sally would not let me play in the white (somewhat dirty) stuff.

... friction. At first it was a little weird riding a bike on the snow, but the bikes have very wide and grippy tires, so that they don’t slip.

Today’s lunch was make your own taco--chicken mole, shrimp or beef. Cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, onion, 2 cheeses were also available. ... a campfire since I’d never done that before on one of my skis and had some Bailey’s by the fire.

By the time we ended it was about 3:30 I think so we got back in the car and drove back to the ranch in time before the 4:30pm deadline.
