... one was a buffalo in deep snow. These are being posted home now and are our anniversary presents.

After the walk around and a spot of shopping, and headed back to cook our dinner. It was handy that the liquor store and the supermarket were next door.

We have an early start and hope to be on the road by 7am as we have some distance to travel. We leave Utah for Colorado for a short stint. So far the weather has been kind and we have only had a couple of spots of rain ...

... some beautiful rainbow trouts for dinner. Ray marinaded them and grilled them for dinner. We ate down in the courtyard of the Kutuk Condo complex where we are staying. We had a great view of the ski area and the Yampa Valley and we all really enjoyed our dinner. Me especially because someone else cooked. What a treat. Thank you Ray.

We had a little soak in the hot tub after dinner and then off to bed. Another fabulous day on Holiday!

After flying south of town, we started the approach again, and then the pilot told us that first time the landing gear would not come down!!! Ha!! - glad he told us after the fact! Colton picked me up, and we had Chipotle on the way home. Glad to be back in Austin, but missing the skiing already!

... groomed last night it doesn't take long to chop up. It's still very nice to board on, you can turn effortlessly in it and when you hit groomed areas there is hardly a sound, no swooshing like on icy runs.

Visit to the hot tub tonight and the temperature is down to 16 F, yes it's cold, with a low of 1 degree Fahrenheit expected (which is about -18 c), my water bottle at that the hot tub was freezing just sitting on the edge, more alcohol ...
