... the cliff faces across the gorge... stunning colours. We heard koalas growling in the trees on the way down thru the gorge, and tried desperately to locate them but alas they eluded us, also saw evidence of wild pigs rooting around in the undergrowth (that’s digging and snuffling, not copulating!). Tried herding an echidna around into the sun to get a decent photo, but he kept ducking his head in.
We set out looking for a place called Chevron Island tonight. From what we were told it takes 5 minutes to get there, for us...it ended up taking us 2 and a half hours. We thought this place was in a certain spot that we've past several times while running but to our surprise it certainly was not there. Forgot to mention that we went out for the second time in surfers. It was better than the first! We got in for free, cause ya know we got the hook up. Haha just joking around but we did get in for free because we were rooming with a chick that worked for the crawl. This is the same chick that got us the job to work for them.
