    We arrived in Naples, both shaken and stirred, at about midday on Saturday the 28th. Ken topped up with fuel and water at the City Dock, while I rang Border Security. They said that we had to present ourselves at the Airport in Fort Myers within 24 hours. Back out to sea. You wouldn't think that 22 miles was that far, but motoring into a 25 knot headwind for five hours is not fun. Nevertheless, we were ...

    ... we were simultaneously approached from three different directions by a barge, a schooner and a huge yacht that had to be traveling at warp speed. Yikes! This was NOT a situation where you could STOP and get your bearings because we were all on a collision course as our AIS reminded us with scary graphics and loud alarms. But it was all over in an instant and we lived to tell this tale. Whew!

    Disaster averted, we entered the harbor but the fun was not quite over yet. ...

    ... s, a visit from Laurie (almost family, a sister of Katherine Nilbrink), dinner with Gil and Arlene, Karen's birthday party, a "Shrimp" reunion....oh gosh,I'm sure I've forgotten a few things...but can you imagine it.
