    ... The battery people are saying that the battery (the reason we sailed here - risking life and limb - from Mexico) is not covered by warranty after all. We're gearing up a battle, but after our serious loss to the US Government we're not feeling too confident.

    And my Burgee hasn't arrived.

    And I can't find anything artistic to photograph.

    ... br> Now it's Wednesday. Tuesday morning we left Fort Myers and started making our way up the Intra-Coastal Waterway to Tampa. Last night we anchored, had Tacos and watched an excellent Documentary on James Baker, followed by a biography of Judy Garland. We'd declined an invitation to a Barbecue from a passing Kayaker - although it was very tempting. I must be getting old.

    ... at theTiki Bar or Bridget's Cross, stuffed grouper at the City Pier or seafood pasta at home we had a splendid time. Many books were devoured, many steps taken, many miles cycled and thousands and thousands of calories, both comestibles and potables consumed with a few thousand less burned.

    I swear, we religiously followed the ICW markers and passed under the bridge as planned. But what was this? Once we went under the bridge, all the markers seemed wrong and we passed islands we did not expect to pass. To be honest, it seemed we were heading in the wrong direction as well.     ... s, a visit from Laurie (almost family, a sister of Katherine Nilbrink), dinner with Gil and Arlene, Karen's birthday party, a "Shrimp" reunion....oh gosh,I'm sure I've forgotten a few things...but can you imagine it.
