Arrived in Salt Lake City around 2 pm. Ryan excitedly freaked out when he saw the street cars downtown. He immediately began a hearty campaign to ride them. So we decided to ride up a couple of stops, turn around and ride back. No problem! Then we got on the wrong train on the way back; when the train turned, that was when we realized our mistake. ... the kids going into Costa Vida on Foothill Drive, rising over the sidewalk crowd at Red Iguana on West North Temple, rising over the horse-drawn carriages clopping the downtown streets, rising over the Arena’s hopeful crowd. ... plowed out yet, so we couldn’t park and take a look.

Once back at our hotel we looked in the gift shops and I went for a walk over to the corral to see the horses and then up the Lunch Tree Hill trail which offers a nice view of willow flats from above.
