We arrived in Antelope Island at 8.30am with a stunning lake view, Salt Lake. It is desert land with incredibly hot temperatures and no antelope in sight. After a quick change into shorts and T-shirts we were ready to enjoy breakfast. After breakfast we decided to take a walk across the sand towards the water where we were greeted by hundreds of sand flies. ... a fire out back so that we could roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Steve came out to the back porch and we sat with the dogs around the fire. After consuming several s'mores, we all agreed that they seemed to taste a lot better when we were kids! Later we put in one of the movies we picked up in town, Burt Wonderstone. We had lunch in Sundance and came back to Park City, UT and toured the town.

... downstairs for a cab every time I wanted to look out of the window. There seems to be a huge amount of space for everything in SLC, and subsequently everything is enormous. Apparently the city blocks are larger in SLC than in most other American cities, and it shows. My room was resplendent in what I believe is described as French Regency, and was glorious in its bad taste. Perfect! The hotel had the air of an immaculately preserved Dowager ...
