One woman asked us what we had seen of Scottsdale. We laughed and said, "Absolutely nothing!" and felt no shame in that. I'm sure it is a beautiful city, but we needed some relaxation time and I think we were all tired of sightseeing in the desert. We have loved our time in the SW USA, but we are ready to move on. A couple of days in San Diego and then off to the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD! Wow!

Ryan and Niki arrive tomorrow and I wanted to get a blog started so I can continue with some pictures of their time with us. The pictures included are from the past 3 weeks. We had a great time with our friends Burns and Karen Morrison for the first 10 dys of our time down here. They were very good sports and allowed us to drag them on three hikes,some biking, running, happy hours and loads of shopping and eating - as well as ...
... We had morning sunrises, sunsets, and a full moon rising. We played an 18 hole putting course, Karen and I sat in the sun by the pool while the guys golfed, and we wandered around Fountain Hills doing some shopping. We haven't begun to do it all.
