Spent a few hours hiking through the forest next to the Lodge, before heading down to Breckenridge and wandered around the town.
The morning starts off with another hike into the forest. Then its time for my friend Gerry to arrive from Cleveland Ohio.
These days are spent sightseeing in the car. Bonus was seeing a mother moose very close to the Lodge.
Tomorrow we begin our adventure to the west coast

As they were skiing down to the base - Vienne lost control and went into the trees and hit a tree head on. The ski patrol had to get her out of the trees as she suffered a concussion. ... the Harlem Globetrotters and listened to live country music. The bartender who also sang informed us she loved Australians, I'm sure Ben thought she had a crush on him after that. In Nashville we also went to the country music hall of fame (good to see Keith Urban in there!), which had Elvis' gold cadillac. We then to the Parthenon, a full scale replica of the real one, sitting in the middle of a park!
Not much longer left now! Ben doesn't want to go home but I'm almost ready!
So we took a quick nap then we decided to walk down into the town. So many people rave about Breckenridge but I wasn’t sure how much I would like it. I have one word…CUTE. It reminds me of Banff…little shops with cute restaurants. We ate dinner at Salt Creek…fabulous meal. We walked past the Whale’s Tale but it was closed due to employee appreciation.
