... constantly drifted down with the current; It was very beautiful.
We spent the day exploring around the area and dozing in the springs. I was starting to feel a little sick, but ignored it and tried to enjoy myself. The next day, however, I woke up feeling absolutely haggard. My joints were aching, skin sore and throat tight. My mood was also really flat which worried me a bit.
I had a chat to Icecave and we decided it was best I headed back to town, away from the damp, ...

On Digger's last day we drove up through the high country north of Jefferson up over Georgia Pass (11,585ft on the Continental Divide) in his 'Lincoln Navigator' hire car - he had to change from his BMW 740 after the sunroof exploded!!!!. Test fired a few weapons......
Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....

      ... declined.

From there it was an easy jaunt over to Guanella Pass, a 22-mile byway that runs north-south between Grant and Georgetown. We started at the southern point, stopping to enjoy a tasty BBQ lunch from a busy roadside stand. Along the route, we topped out at 11,669-feet and enjoyed spectacular vistas of peaks and valleys before arriving in Georgetown, which is squeezed into the narrow valley at the northernmost point of this tour. ...
