... parking area. Short walk down the the waiting site for the ranger. The view of the cliff palace was amazing. It looked like something out of Aladdin or a Hollywood set but this was the settling of the Pueblo people. They lived here around 550 AD till 1200 AD. ... and the scenery was beautiful. The mountain landscape was very dramatic. Overall, this was the steepest mountain I’ve skied. I had always heard that Telluride was uncrowded, but I didn’t really think it was any less crowded than some of the other places I’ve skied out West (Steamboat, Aspen/Snowmass).
