On the second day it was extremely powdery and there was a High Avalanche warning which was a bit scary but apparently is still fine to ski if you keep to the trails. Although I was disappointed that one of our favourites, the Norwegian Viking Axel Lund Svindal, was injured and not racing we could not have been more pleased than to see his compatriot, Kjetil Jansrud, fly down the difficult course to win from the Swiss Beat Feuz. The American crowd were delighted that Steve Nyman came in 3rd. It really was as thrilling and ...

... at night after dinner is so pretty as the trees are lit up with lights, there is an ice skating rink in the middle of the plaza which the children enjoy and all the shops are open till around 9pm. Love to window shop. They are very expensive but they are so different to anything we see at home, it is enjoyable to see what is on offer and at what price. They certainly cater for those on a million dollar plus income that's for sure.
