      ... steaming hot-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies, just for us. All we could do was look at each other and smile as we took a bite into heaven. We then headed off to explore the town some more, wandering in and out of all the shops. It was pure ecstasy to feel the sun on our backs and look up to see the mountains in front of us.

      Our last big ride of my trip..........

      Digger has returned to Tassie so with Willy & Trudy along with Willy's son Darryl and his wife, Jessica, rode to Gunnison, Colorado and from there through some of the most beautiful country I have seen with lots of great sweepers for motorcycles. Stayed O/N at Basalt and then rode onto Aspen and up over 'Independence Pass' onto Buena Vista before heading for Willy's place. Rode 512 miles (825kms) in 2 days. For the first time ...

      This past weekend, we had the most enjoyable and relaxing weekend in Snowmass, CO. It was the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival and Pamela and Roy had asked us to join them at their hotel. We are IN! We stayed at the beautiful Viceroy Hotel and had the most gorgeous view of Snowmass Village.       ... nights and had a very relaxing and comfy time even though the beavers had abandoned the lake in favor of one higher up in the hills. We sat on the porch and watched the lake and the hummingbirds that came to check out our travel mascot, Steve.       Drove up to Aspen to see Richard Ford my grandson. Had dinner and walked around Aspen went to bed and drove back to Centenial to stay with her until Tuesday Morning.
