Paris day two, man we covered some ground!

It turns out the Louvre wasn't as good as she had hoped. It's layout is incredibly confusing, she couldn't find a bathroom OR stairs to the second floor, no one that works there seemed to be able to help, and most of the museum was in French with no english guide. Weekend Strolling Paris in the Autumn sun

Some buskers are out in the balmy early evening and very pleasant it is to stand there for a few minutes and soak it all in. Arrival in Paris... 'Lost in France'
... was rather expensive, except for the fruit and the alcohol. On top of that we were surprised to see all the shelf prices were electronically displayed!
We had a quick snack (tomato and mince sandwiches, with a side of Whiskey), and then out to explore. We marveled at the brilliance of the Eiffel tower at night, and got great pictures of it. It even has a 'sparkle' feature which they turn on at certain times. It was so beautiful and big! Definitely the best ...
Exploring Paris

Concert was something a little different, a violin, recorder and clavichord playing some less well known baroque pieces at Sainte Chapelle. These guys were excellent musicians and Dad was really impressed with their skill. The acoustics in this church are sensational and that is why it is the most popular venue in Paris for small string performances.
