Heading north to Valencia we stopped off in Rugat which is close to the climbing areas of Salem and Gandia.

Thankfully Salem has a number of walls which face East and North so we managed to get a full days climbing in and be in tne shade most of the day. Gandia was not quite so shady but we did manage a couple of hours in ...

    ... the beach.

On the property side we are very much at the investigation stage looking at different locations, but we have seen some interesting opportunities, however we must not get rushed into buying something we haven't fully researched and it fits with our longer term plans.

It was very quiet when we arrived on Friday afternoon but got busier over the weekend but was still very relaxing. Even managed to get a good walk up the local mountain including the scramble up to the very top. And ...

Another spectacular day on the beach and at the pool. I think we've all learned that going to the beach means you'll be covered in sand from head to toe. Our beach spot today was perfect. We were right in front of a section of the Mediterranean where you could swim out and play on a floating jungle gym of sorts. It had slides, diving boards, and a large hammock. The only downside was that by the time you get out there you are ...

    Day/Night 15: Sand for days

Another beach day! The beach in Benidorm is nicer than Torremolinos. There are no rocks along the shoreline and the water seems warmer. The atmosphere here definitely caters to the British, but is fun for anyone looking for a busy beach town. We had a great day lounging on the beach and playing in the water. Clouds rolled in late afternoon, ...
