... it was a beach day so after our usual breakfast of chocolate chip brioche with jam we made the trek back up the sand dune and over the other side to the beach. ... to a beautiful day. Still, warm and sunny so after breakfast we set off along the coastline on our bikes to Arcachon. It's all very beautiful with the beach running the distance and the locals and people of Bordeaux making the most of a beautiful Sunday. Many were already on the beach sunning themselves. We rode about 18 km to get to the end of the cycle lane till you can ride no more and its certainly a playground to enjoy the beach scene. ...
