... can no longer go out at night and snowboard on form the next day. Muriel, Jonas and I made a good go of it but my feet wouldn't remember how to ride and my board wouldn't do as I asked. We did make it up to the top of Glacier de la Vanoise. Tom recommended we head there, and the views were awesome. As was the snow. By this point it was mid afternoon and I'd finally learnt how to turn again. It was the ...
Had a great day exploring yesterday, but I don't really enjoy snowboarding alone. A bit of FB stalking revealed that a guy I met around 10 years ago (on a ski season in Les Deux Alpes), and his wife, were doing a season in Val D'Isere. I can't imagine anyone being sad while living up there, it was just so perfect! I am already planning a way to get back up there, I fell in love with everything about the Alps. If you haven't been, I strongly recommend making it one of the top places to visit!
