We did make it up to the top of Glacier de la Vanoise. Tom recommended we head there, and the views were awesome. As was the snow. By this point it was mid afternoon and I'd finally learnt how to turn again. It was the ...

A bit of FB stalking revealed that a guy I met around 10 years ago (on a ski season in Les Deux Alpes), and his wife, were doing a season in Val D'Isere. We had a great time in La Fornet, today brought heavy snow and reduced ...

... through security still with time to spare, and still miss a fight. Just to buy gin), check in again, and remove my boots again to get through security. And we had to delay our first nights dinner at the chalet in order to let the girls collect their ski's and boots which we should have organised earlier in the day. Other than that, I'd definitely say that missing a flight is just not that big a deal!

... architecture, a very Swiss style. Everyone was so helpful and nice, I really liked the small town feel of everyone knowing everyone else. I can't imagine anyone being sad while living up there, it was just so perfect! I am already planning a way to get back up there, I fell in love with everything about the Alps. If you haven't been, I strongly recommend making it one of the top places to visit!
