          This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
          If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

          ... lunch.
          Another ferry ride back to Bellagio for a gelato....and then back to Varenna for afternoon siesta! Well Kevin anyway, I went walking again to see the few remaining sights in Varenna I had not seen, the church and one of the Villas gardens which were beautiful. Walking in Varenna is not easy due to the steep stairs to access higher parts of the village, so by the end of the day my legs were feeling it.

          ... garden that i was desperate to take a good picture of but it was pretty much impossible as some models were having a photo shoot there, damn them!           ... cathedral. There's a grand shopping arcade and art museums in this piazza also. I decided to check out a portrait exhibit of works borrowed from the Pompidou museum in Paris. Pieces by Matisse, Picasso, Bacon, and Magritte to name a few.

          Checked out Piazza San Babila. This piazza is named after an old church and in my mind a pretty kick ass family. It wasn't open, but I'm glad I got to see it! ...
