Train one hour out to varenna on lake como. Weather fine again, lake is clear n blue. Varenna is small village across from Bellagio. Very cute on hill side, ferry takes you across to other villages. Bellissimo Bellagio
Good night's sleep in warm bedroom thanks to wood fire heater. Up about 7 and had a relaxing start to the day enjoying our first early morning views of the lake and village houses. Reasonably clear with patches of sunlight - Norbert guessed about 1°. Stunning scenery and one appreciates why you might have a holiday home here. Still patches of snow on nearby roofs.
