This morning we left Vienna (yes, I swear we just arrived) bound for Prague. I was fortunate before I left to finally get in touch with my parents on Skype while they're in the states, to find out they were leaving later that day! Better late than never to get hold of them and actually talk about their trip! My dad worked his time for cracking inter-continental dad jokes to our room - mum I did my best to expend some of his energy before you're stuck on a 14hr ...

... colleague for every move she made and why it took 100 years to complete.

The saddest thing we had to do was throw out the tasty food we had been carrying around for us to have for breakfast so in the bin goes Paul's blue cheese, our quiche, the white cherries......
we were so shattered by this time food was the last thing on our mind and clearly we would not be allowed to take it to Prague. So goodbye to that plastic bag.

We went by a museum which now holds pictures that children drew while they were in concentration camps. I never got to see the pictures but he described how amazing they were to us. ... asking three different ones, i was finally successful. We made it to the train station with about 15 minutes to spare and found our seats on the train.
