... with the people in our hostel as well as met up with our friends from Berlin who had arrived that day. At 12:30 our bar closes and they took us all to a bar down in the Old Town which was pretty cool but fairly small and hot. I also really appreciate the non smoking in clubs and bars back at home as it was pretty cloudy and musty in the close quarters floors. I got back to the hostel pretty late but at least before sunrise this time! Needless to say it wouldn't be a very early morning ...

... on the way up and made for great viewing. We walked though the gardens again and down toward the castle, stopping for a late dinner at A Divadlo Pokracue where G had... Roast Pork and Dumplings and I had a salad. Despite the surprisingly brisk temperatures, I am so glad we walked the castle/church grounds at night as well. Czech Beers

... it the woman from the previous evening showed up with the beers. She'd brought 10 different bottles of Czech beer for us to taste. The same group from the sangria night slowly turned up so we all sat down to learn about and taste delicious Czech beer. Just as we were starting some Germans showed up...then some Dutch...then a big group of Poles. We were now sharing each bottle with over 20 people.

... WWII the Nazis used it as a concentration camp and ghetto. A very moving experience.

In the afternoon using public transport I took a ride into town to see the Dancing House, a modern building styled after the dancing Fred and Ginger by Architect Frank Ghery, and a ride up the funicular. The evening ended with a cultural dinner and entertainment. An 8 hour coach drive yesterday brought our group to Budapest to board our cruise ship the Travelmarvel Diamond.

... We even talked about our families and we unfortunately had some things in common with our fathers having cancer. His mother past away before this with cancer as well. So, it was nice to talk to someone who understood me and didn't pity me. That being said i took another tour with him right after the free one ended!!!
